Terms of Service

By creating a Voxo account you agree to these terms. They exist to protect the people you are talking to.

Last updated: October 2026

Using Voxo

You need an account that is yours, a working microphone and a respectful attitude. Voxo is for practising English with other members, and the community guidelines apply to every part of the product.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens with your account, including keeping your password to yourself.
  • You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country, and you must not use Voxo to talk to minors.
  • One account per person. Creating extra accounts to fill a room is not allowed.

Acceptable use

Do not use Voxo to harass, deceive, scam, or record other members. Do not attempt to access accounts, data or servers that are not yours, and do not try to disrupt the service for other people. We apply technical limits — on room creation, matching attempts and chat messages — to keep the platform usable for everyone.

No guarantee

Voxo is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Audio connections depend on the network of each participant, and we cannot guarantee that every call will connect in every country or on every network. We do not guarantee the availability of a specific partner or room.

Ending the conversation

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break the community guidelines or these terms, and we may remove content or end conversations that we believe put a member at risk.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Voxo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

When these terms change, the updated date at the top of this page changes too. Continuing to use Voxo after an update means you accept the new version.
